My iPod inexplicably lost all of the songs (it was well over 3000) and videos I had on it. Deciding that I should be oh-so-very used to things like this happening to me, I've decided to TRY TO REMEMBER every artist I had on there and, in turn, whatever songs of theirs I had. Most of them are easy, but I'm going to have to search song lyrics and what have you to remember some of the others. I've also been checking Music On Demand, as well as my bios on web sites such as Yahoo, MySpace, and Facebook to try to jog my memory. Interestingly enough, quoting R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion" in the title of this entry made me remember to put R.E.M. on my list. The videos are easy enough to remember. All I had on there were three of my favorite movies (Gladiator, Braveheart, and 300), and the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series podcast [which isn't on iTunes anymore from the last time I checked], so that's not much of a burden.
Called Apple Tech Support with fingers crossed that there would be a small chance that they could've told me something to do that would take me not having to jot it down. I spoke to a really nice guy named Samuel, but there really wasn't much he could do other than suggest different sites and stuff to help me hunt down my collection again. For now, I just need help recollecting [both in memory and in actual collection] these songs again, especially since I don't own the hard copies [CD's] of most of them.
Your slightly crazed friend,
Jay Mason
